Dear friends,
Just to let you know that we've had one fabulous summer. Molly broke up from school on the 12th July and that weekend we went caravanning in Rosedale. What glorious weather! Later in the month we celebrated Nikki's 18th then, the day after, Molly, Paul and I flew out to stay with my sister and her family in Michegan for 19 days. It was lovely to see Molly with her cousins (Grace is the same age and sat next to her in year 1) and Hazel age 8, Dominic age 2! We went climbing enormous sand-dunes, went jet skiing, barbecuing on the beach, Michegan adventureland, visited the tall ships, and travelled to Chigago (went up the tallest building in the world) museums with dinasours, space and animals. What a holiday!
We came back on the 14th August in time for Nikki's A level results. She did very well-AABB so she is now off to Leeds Uni to do medicine. We are all so proud of her.
A week later we took Molly-ann to Skippol in Holland were we met Dick and Sue and Rebecca. They took us sailing for 6 days. Molly-ann loved it. Rebecca is a year older than Molly and they both got on very well. Paul of course loves sailing so he was in 7th heaven! The holiday, for me, was SO relaxing - I loved it - Don't think Sue will be drinking G&T 's when she gets back for a while!
Molly started back at school this week. She was looking forward to seeing all her friends there. She still talks of her old school friends from Kirkella. I must pop in with her sometime.
Thank you for your interest in Molly. Dick's motto is "You're here to have fun" and I totally agree with him.
